Update API details or re-sync credentials

If you're reading this, you have likely just received an email from us about a required update. Do not worry, it's not a big thing you need to change and it will not change functionality for you in any way.

Why did you receive an email?

Well over the past few years we have improved our API in various ways, but one of them has caused a very old integration to soon become deprecated.

What do you need to do?

You will need to perform a password reset on (forgot password is the simplest way to change the password, otherwise on your user details here

Time to update to token-based (optional, but good)?

If you use a third-party integration with Pingdom such as it might be a good time to use this opportunity to update the integration to use our token-based API instead of the legacy version you are currently on, it's extremely quick and simple, see this article for details:
